Gerald Gerhardt, P.E. – Sr. Associate, Sr. Electrical Engineer

Gerry is a Professional Electrical Engineer licensed in Washington (P.E.), with extensive experience in the engineering and design of commercial, hospital, industrial, power plant, College/University and mission critical environments. These systems include power distribution, emergency/standby power generation, architectural lighting, telecommunications and LAN, fire alarm, security, fiber optics, data, and intercommunication systems. He is experienced in coordinating these systems with electrical utilities and other disciplines, and in performing power and lighting calculations, equipment selection, and specification development. He has continued to stay current with the applicable National Electrical Code revisions. He has provided construction administration services including shop drawing review, facility inspections and commissioning. His responsibilities have ranged from Project Engineer of small- to medium-sized projects to serving principal engineer in charge of large projects. His responsibilities have ranged from electrical systems layouts and engineering calculations through construction administration and company standards development.

Mr. Gerhardt has completed numerous continued education training courses to include power plant design and power system analysis. Gerry brings a vast amount of experience and leadership to Lane Coburn & Associates and will provide support and management on complex projects.

Mr. Gerhardt has specialized in numerous mission critical projects over the years including a number of hospital and laboratories. Some of the clients have included the following: Boeing, SeaTac, University of Washington, Port of Seattle, Providence Medical Center, Immunex, Longview Fiber, State of Washington, Seattle Center, Weyerhaeuser Co, Fort Lewis, American Paper Company, Pacific Northwest Bell, PACCAR Inc, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, McCord AFD & Arco Refinery
